DO YOU REALIZE THAT THERE ARE 28 BONES, 30 JOINTS AND MORE THAN 100 MUSCLES, TENDONS AND LIGAMENTS in our feet doing jobs to help provide support, balance & mobility?
There’s a reason why Pilates teachers are always talking about wrapping your toes around the bar, connect your big toe, connect your heels to the bar, flex your feet like a bird on the wire. Lower the heels and lift the heels slow to obtain muscular action and ankle flexibility. Good balance depends on the whole muscular strength working throughout the body. All these movements above assist with balance and stabilization to keep you on your feet.
So when you come into our studio, take time to roll your feet on a pinky ball or the Naboso sensory stick and if you like either of these see our Linktree.
